Seaside, Oregon is a little resort town with an enviable location along the Oregon Coast. It invites with its beautiful sandy beach and an ever-changing seascape of the Pacific Ocean, an open waterfront Promenade, abundance of kid-friendly activities, entertainment and a wide range of shopping and dining.

Seaside was a short vacation away from our trip to Portland. It was a chance to relax and take those fabled long walks on the beach at sunset. Seaside is a prototypical seaside resort, with an arcade, kitschy shops, and seafood-oriented restaurants.

What a wonderful trip! I will return to Seaside Oregon a hundred times if I can. The Hillcrest Inn is superb.

We traveled over to the The Resort at Seaside or The Worldmark. It was right on the beach, which we enjoyed. We could wake up and take the kids to play on the beach.

Park of a triptych of small oregon coast towns, the others being Astoria and Cannon Beach, Seaside manages to be everything the others avoid, but carry it off sith some success.
