- With our extended family all having to work or attend prior engagements out of town that weekend, we decided why not go off somewhere for the weekend and combine our youngest birthday and Easter.

- A getaway for our anniversary is something we plan every year. A cheap trip this year was to book an off-season time share resort.

- The food is excellent, the bars and clubs quite safe and enjoyable, the public transportation reliable, the beach cleaner than you can expect.

- We had problems trying to find a place to park in Ocean City. RV parking was limited to south end and 100th Street. Had to rent a car to get around.

- Ocean City took me by surprise. There were things I didn't expect from a REAL boardwalk: the hot dogs, the Ferris wheel, Ripley's, the sun, the tan, and the FUN!

- New Years Weekend in Ocean City is a worth while experience if you are looking for easy availability, quaint sea side towns and great food. Although some of the area restaurants and hotels are closed in the off season, there is still plenty to keep you occupied.

- I realized how much I missed the smells, the people, and the beach. It was great taking the kids there for their first time. I used to go every summer when I was a kid. Cherished memories for me, and now I hope for them too!
