- Lvov is a beautfiul, smiling, Polish city, down to the Rynek and the town buildings. It is a lovely place to be. While dilapidated, it isn't depressing like Kiev, Katowice, or Moscow.

- We spent a fortnight in Ukraine. We flew to Kiev, stayed 4 nights, overnight train to Odessa, then on to Yalta in the Crimea.

- Kiev nightlife page that I found. Very extensive and kind of funny and opinionated. I think Kiev has best nightclubs in Ukraine but Odessa is better in summer. www.kievapts.com/Kiev_nightlife.asp
