I concluded my tour through England and Wales in Snowdonia, the mountainous northern region of Wales, definitely a place to which I intend to return!!

Five great days in north Wales, mostly centred around climbing the most famous few peaks; Snowdon via Crib Goch, Tryfan, and walking in the Ogwen Valley.

Wonderful mountains near the sea. Great in many conditions: with views over the top of clouds to other mountains and the sea; at night with uncountable stars; at dusk with village lights coming on and of course in perfect weather with views as far as Ireland.

Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales and there are various routes to the summit for all abilities affording splendid views. There are plently of other natural wonders in the Snowdonia Park too waiting to be explored.
