- Trip experience from Hurghada. I will be addressing safety questions in hotel and at the airport. My experience with changing money at the bank and problem with unknown charge to my AMEX. To make it short... be very careful.

- We spent a week relaxing in the warm January sunshine at a resort along the Red Sea. The restaurant food was great and beach service very good.

- We had an enjoyable time in Hurghada for the New Year. The weather was lovely and warm away from the snow we left at Manchester. However, we would not recommend the resort 'Mirette Touristic Village' as a satisfactory resort. The rooms were very basic and badly in need of refurbishment. The beach area was lovely and we cannot fault the entertainment on New Years Eve which was superb at a cost of £45 (approx $100) per person. Fresh lobsters and prawns and hundreds of hand made deserts.

- Our experience in the Royal Palace Hotel, Hurghada, left us totally disappointed. Our apartment was nothing more than a Nissan Hut--it was dirty, tatty, and definitely not the "exceptional accommodation"written about on page four of the RCI Points directory.

- Hurghada is a nice little fishing town where you will enjoy diving and snorkling. We enjoyed swimming in the Red Sea very much, admiring the beautiful coral reefs and fishing. The sandy beaches are spectacular, especially Sharm Al Nawa. Hurghada is a nice place to relax!!

- The resort does not cater to English-speaking guests, so it was difficult to make yourself understood at times. The staff, however, were very helpful and did their best to sort out any problems that you had.

- One week trip to Hurghada in Egypt, which included diving in the beautiful Red Sea, visiting the Valley of Kings, and seeing the mummy of King Tut together with lots of snorkeling, bathing, and relaxing.
