- For five years I lived and worked in Gainesville. The community still has a small town charm, but is quickly growing. It is becoming the gateway to the mountains that they have long advertised.

- When my friends told me we would be spending a few days in Gainesville, I was like "huh?". I had a great time exploring several areas very close to Gainesville.

- I go to Gainsville every summer because my cousins have a lake house there, it is great. Everyone will find something they like to do here whether it's trying to reel in a big catch, sunbathing on a little deserted island found all over the lake, boating at top speed, or dining by the lake. The adventurous and relaxers alike should come and experience what this lake has to offer. You will find southern hospitality, local charm and peaceful waters.
