- We've been waiting for so long for this giant, fantastic resort to open! At last! In brief, Gaylord Texan exceeded all of my dreams and expectations! Does that make my point? We had a wonderful four nights there.

- Grapevine is a place where wine grapes are grown, entertainment, food & shopping possibilities are endless. All within the shadow of D-FW Airport! Although Texas wine doesn't have the best reputation, the shopping in Grapevine is wonderful. We enjoy the one-of-a-kind restaurants and shopping at Grapevine Mills Outlet Mall. If you have a long layover at the airport, you can make a run to the mall. It is about 15 minutes away.
