A weekend climb up Mt Whitney. Although some people can summit and return in one day, we decided to pack our tents and make a weekend of it. Three days and two nights later, we completed our goal despite the altitude and deep wet snow.

A 22 mile round trip day hike to the top of Mt. Whitney, CA. Mt. Whitney is the highest peek in the continental U.S. at 14,495. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who wants a challenge.
