  • We left Puno by bus with the aim of travelling to La Paz by a round-about route which included a trip on Lake Titicaca and a visit to Island of the Sun. The trip was good but given another chance we would organise it somewhat differently, at considerably less cost.

Cusco to Puno, Peru

  • Cusco was a delight but everyone has to move on. We were heading for Bolivia so were travelling via Puno and Lake Titicaca. There is a luxury train from Cusco to Puno and you can also travel by road. We took the road option and thoroughly enjoyed the day.
