- This was our first Queensland holiday without children (well, except we actually stayed in Northern NSW!) and it should have been a romantic week in paradise. The reality: small, stuffy room (air-conditioning barely coped) mosquitos around the pool at night, and a resort a long way from the beach. (about 11km).
