- Nanaimo is the 2nd largest city on Vancouver Island and is the ferry hub for travellers continuing to the north part of the island or to one of many nearby Gulf Islands. It is worth a stop on any itinerary for Vancouver Island.

- Our Spring Break vacation to Pacific Shores Nature Resort and the surrounding area was a surprising peek into paradise, northwest style! Since we were travelling with three generations -- including a two-year-old -- it was important that we found things that everyone could enjoy yet still have a relaxing vacation.
