I had no idea that a drive through the mountains from Palm Springs would lead to a mini-Napa area called Temecula. We had a ball going from winery to winery and tasting/drinking/buying the wines!

Temecula's a picturesque community an hour north of San Diego and an hour east of Los Angeles on I15. Temecula is home to about 15 award winning wineries. A day spent tasting wines and enjoying views and vineyards of this "Valley in the Mist" is relaxing and tasty.
