- Geiranger has one of the most beautiful settings in Norway. It is flooded with tourists in the June-August period but in quieter times it is a real gem. The road to the north from here is one of the most spectacular in Norway and shouldn’t be missed.

- I look forward to seeing more fords but I do not see anything beating the ones that are covered here, the Moldefjord and Romsdalfjord from Andalsnes, the awesome Geirangerfjord and the huge Sognefjord with its wonderfully scenic offshoots, the Aurlandsfjord and the justly named Naeroyfjord.
