Dartmouth is just a short ferry trip across the Harbour from Halifax. The waterfront is attractive and it has good restaurants and tourist attractions.

Dartmouth is the other major city on Halifax Harbour. It has many advantages for visitors, not the least of which is fantastic views of Halifax, ships, bridges and also plenty of parking. Dartmouth has an open 'airy' feel as nature has been respected. 23 lakes give an opportunity for views and water sports.
