Tong Lu and Fu Chun Jiang are located in Zhejiang province of China. Geographically, Zhejiang is southwest to Shanghai. Simply get a train ticket on that exact day and a 2-hour trip on an express train will take you there.

Travelling in China during Spring Festival is certainly an experience, wherever you go there are thousands of Chinese on the move. To begin with I went to Lishui with a student, then Qiandao Lake, Huangshan mountain and Suzhou.

Wu Zhen is unknown to most foreigners and it certainly was to me. That is one of the reasons it was such a surprise. We stepped back in time to see much of what China was like centuries ago. This journal describes some of the highlights of our day trip.
