- This is a lovely small town located on Lake Ontario, where you can walk, bike, shop, boat, or just veg out. It boasts approximately 30 bed and breakfasts, numerous shops, and two theaters.

- The Niagara Icewine Celebrations are during the last two weekends (and the week in between) of January. The local wineries pull out all the stops and host a wonderful event. Bundle up and taste the wine of the gods.
