This is a lovely small town located on Lake Ontario, where you can walk, bike, shop, boat, or just veg out. It boasts approximately 30 bed and breakfasts, numerous shops, and two theaters.

The Niagara Icewine Celebrations are during the last two weekends (and the week in between) of January. The local wineries pull out all the stops and host a wonderful event. Bundle up and taste the wine of the gods.
