An important industrial center along the mighty Parana River, Rosario is an almost unavoidable stop in the way to northern Argentina.

Rosario has many things to see; the Paraná Delta starts here, there are nice beaches at La Florida, many beautiful parks, a lovely coastal avenue, enjoyable cruises, nearby Victoria, the monument to the Argentine flag... I started visiting this city in 1954. Since then, I have been there many times.

The Parana and Uruguay rivers are the two most important long rivers in Argentina, and form the River Plate. Both rivers come all the way from Brazil. There are many important cities along both rivers: Rosario, Santa Fe, Paraná, Resistencia, Corrientes, Gualeguaychú, Concepción del Uruguay, Concordia, Paso de los Libres.
