- Oahu is the most developed of the Hawaiian Islands, with a real urban vibe. You don't need to go far, however, to enjoy the tropical paradise of sun and beaches. This was our first trip back since 12/05 using the timeshare that we own on Waikiki, as the perfect homebase.

- Oahu attracts tourists from Japan, the US mainland, Australia, and others. But this trip, we had local friends as our guides for tips and food.

- We own a timeshare on Waikiki, so we get to vacation here often. Each time we come to Oahu, we see and do something new.

- This beautiful Hawaiian island has much to offer from pineapple plantations and fresh coconut syrup, to helicopter tours and unique shops!

- This island should not be discounted as a stop-over. Come see the sights, enjoy the culture, and ask yourself why you didn't come here sooner.
