Río Hondo is the cheapest tourist destination in all Argentina, except in July-August. There are two reasons why you would want to go there: thermal baths or dorado fishing. I was here in 1964, as technical translator of Harza Engineering, that was studying the feasibility of the Río Hondo dam.

Fishing, travelling, and photography have been my main hobbies for over fifty years, and I want to share some fishing experiences. My last fishing tour was to Río Hondo, where you can fish dorados all the year round. It is a non-expensive destination.
