- Throw all your preconceptions out the window. It has been 14 years since the Civil War ended, and Lebanon is well on its way to becoming the Middle East's hottest destination. With beaches, nightclubs, skiing, and world-class shopping, Lebanon truly is the playground of the Middle East.

- Exciting things are happening in Beirut right now. There is a ton to do and see from archeology to culture. As a country staying on the path of peace, Lebanon may very well be the next IT place on the Mediterranean.

- We decided to go to Lebanon in April and we had a great time. The country is very small, maybe 200 km to 80 km, and it is very enjoyable to travel around. The people are very friendly, and the country is filled with archaeological sites.

- 10 days hanging out in Beirut and touring the country … taking in the many sites; Baalbek is a must-see! But some of the most fascinating and most meaningful parts of Lebanon are in its contrasts.

- Too many travel features about Lebanon start by referring to its capital as ‘Paris of the East’. There’s more to Beirut than a once-upon-a-time comparison to The City of Light. And there’s more to Lebanon than Beirut.
