- Beaver Creek, Colorado, is in a great location with many ski resorts and things to do. We skied most of the trip, but also took a drive and viewed the scenery and wildlife. It was a great trip.

- We left Chicago on Saturday morning at 6:15am and arrived at the Inn at Beaver Creek by 12:15pm. Once we dropped off our luggage, we were on the slopes and sking by 1pm.

- Springtime in Colorado - what an amazing sight. You don't know if it's spring or winter. New life is starting while the snow still flies. The skiing is either the best in the world or you go hiking on some of the most amazing mountains in the country.

- We go skiing and stay at the St. James Place every December. It is a place like no other. Splendido is the highlight of each trip. They have the best food and ambiance. The condo is so wonderful - we kid every year that we will stay forever!
