Three city blocks of color, food, music, and handmade crafts. The Saturday Market is a staple of Eugene, or sightseeing and excellent people watching.

I spent a semester on exchange to the University of Oregon and got to enjoy the quaint town of Eugene. It's laid-back, liberal, friendly atmosphere is welcoming and easy to get used to.

With my 30th birthday just around the corner, my girlfriend and I decided to scope out a venue for the imminent bash. A trio of decades and a trio of McMenamins.

It was a quick trip up to visit the University of Oregon campus that turned into a wonderful weekend of dining and fun. Everything is so easy in Eugene I usually leave refreshed and renewed.

Being from Eugene, of course I am slightly bias but here you have a delightful college town with something for everyone. It's peaceful, lots of outdoorsy activities, good restaurants, and a very cultural city overall.

Home of the University of Oregon, this city provides many cultural and sporting events. Eugene is located in the southern Willamette Valley and is a good-sized city and a GREAT town.
