Nearing the end of our month long honeymoon to Egypt and Jordan, we travelled the south-north axis of Jordan visiting many castles, mountains and places of biblical significance, canyons, nature preserves and even swam in the Dead Sea.

So you saw Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and watched him ride his horse through the Canyon of the Crescent Moon and burst out beneath a vast temple carved into the solid rock wherein he found the Holy Grail. Then, some years later, as you find the movie on TV while you're flipping through channels, your friend tells you "Oh, that's not a set, they actually filmed that somewhere in the Middle East." Then, if you're like me, your blood begins to tingle and you get that subtle itch that you know WON'T go away until you yourself tromp through that selfsame canyon and see that selfsame temple (and perhaps search for that selfsame grail!).
