- The Yakima Area Arboretum is a collection of over 2,000 species of woody plants on 46 acres of land. Other collections include: Butterfly, gardens, Herbarium, Native Plants, Perennials, Wetlands, and more. Be sure to bring along some bottled water, sunscreen, and some company to make the experience more enjoyable.
