Laguna Bacalar

Lago Bacalar is about 200 miles south of Cancun, very near Chetumal. Lake Bacalar is simultaneously transparent while having many colours of blue and green. The fortress in town has a magnificent view, and the town square is a nice place to sit and have a drink and chat with people.
