Fresno, Host of CSU Summer Arts

Created by E. B. on July 28, 2003

  • I have been visiting Fresno for CSU Summer Arts since 1999. It's a month-long Arts Festival with events that are free to enrolled students. There are world-renowned artists who visit and workshop with the students. It's definitely worthwhile. Summer Arts will continue to be hosted at Fresno until summer 2005.

Created by hwlrmnky on January 22, 2002

  • The urbane set knows Fresno is very, very funny. Thing is, it's also on the way to a lot of very cool places, and does have a few charms of its own. Best you be prepared in case you need to drive through.

Fresno

Created by kmakarewicz on January 18, 2001

  • Fresno was a great place to grow up. Fortunately, I still visit often to see family. It is a shame that many people have the perception that Fresno has nothing to offer the traveler. The truth is that they just haven't gotten the inside scoop on where to go.
