- Rovinj is the most beautiful city in the Istrian region of Croatia. The center is very nice to visit, there are a lot of shops situated in little marble-covered streets. It is very safe at night as well, when it is even more attractive, with a lot of bars and restaurants. Go to Rio bar in the morning, where all the locals start their days, fishermen, clerks...and be sure to eat at Sidro, the oldest restaurant in town , run for 40 years by the same family. Recreate yourself at Punta Corrente park of nature, and go diving, nice sites for beginners, and advanced divers as well.
