- Ancient Thira was a must to visit - set high over the island it gives great views of santorini and a real insight into history

- It's not a huge island and a two day car hire was ample time to investigate every nook and cranny

- Our hotel was based in this small extension of the main resort town of Parissa. It;'s a bit off the action so a little quieter.
