Queensland’s Gold Coast is Australia’s most popular holiday destination. It is not hard to see why. Great beaches, good shopping, excellent accommodation, restaurants and nightlife all combine to appeal to everyone. Then there is the icing on the cake; the wonderful theme parks and the great weather.

We visited the Gold Coast for a short family holiday. It proved to be a great choice for everyone. There were numerous things to do and places to visit. Accommodation, shopping, restaurant and theme park options are recommended in this journal.

Awesome views, and a great, relaxing environment. Farm activities include horse riding. It's close to Brisbane and the Gold Coast. A beautiful scenic drive, and easy to find.

If you are wanting to experience the Australian countryside at its best, then Kooralbyn Valley is the place to go. You can stay in luxury at the Koorablyn International Resort, or for those with a budget, there is other accommodation available.

My husband and I spent a week of golf in Queensland, staying at Kooralbyn Valley Resort and then driving to Surfers, Mt Tambourine, and Brisbane for golf, dining, and shopping.
