- Rocky coastline and angry ocean can be a recipe for disaster. That's where lighthouses come in. For over one hundred years, these life saving bastions have been helping mariners safely navigate along the Oregon coast.

- For 10 days in the summer of 2000, my boyfriend and I cruised south along the Orgeon stretch of coastal Route 101. Not the most original trip, but it is well-traveled for good reason: it is graced with one natural beauty after another!

- The Oregon Coast is a beautiful. I have stayed at Seaside, Lincoln City, and Depot Bay. My very favorite place is Depot Bay Oregon. It is a small city and WorldMark has a wonderful resort there. You can sit on your patio or deck and watch the whales play.
