San Gimignano is the most lovely city in Tuscany. A lot of tourists, but nevertheless it's perfect for a stay. I like it very much, and I love the restaurant Beppone.

A few relaxing days of small-town tuscan life in San Gimignano, a beautiful hill town known as the "medival manhattan" for its many towers. It IS touristy, but worth exploring. Go beyond the typical destinations there, and you'll find it a wonderful experience!

A short 1 1/2hours from Florence, San Gimignano is a refreshing visit from the over crowded Florence. Situated on a hill top, San Gimignano offers one of the best views of the Tuscan country side.

San Gimigniano is one of the best presereved medievil city in Italy. It is a walled city at the top of a hill. The residents built towers to watch for intruders and to allow them to pour hot oil on their foes as they approached.

San Gimignano is as a gem and near to several other Tuscan towns. It's full of charming stores and restaurants. It's a lazy, idealic place to rest, recooperate and enjoy the dolce vita.

San Gimignano once had 72 towers throughout the town. Today only 13 towers remain, but the town has preserved its Middle Age atmosphere.
