From the moment we drove into town, we were pleased to be here. We headed for the waterfront and picked the Holiday Inn to stay for the night. It was so nice we stayed a second night.

Near my cottage, the Sault has been a mainstay has been a home for me in summers since I was a child. One of the "Twin Saults" (One US and One Canadian) The Sault is a border city with spirit.

Gateway to the North.Sailing in the summer and skiing in the winter. A wonderful winter carnival in February to laugh away the winter.Ski at Searchmount 30 minutes away. Cross the border to Sault Michigan to shop or visit Kewedin Casino.Drive 4o minutes to the Makinaw Bridge or to take a ferry to Makinaw Island to step back in time for a day.
