- Ignore the advice you will most certainly get to leave the main island of Fiji and go immediately to the islands. There are some wonderful experiences to be had on the main island, and at a much more reasonable rate.

- Fiji offers several excellent golf courses so for those couples who both play you can combine a tropical paradise with some serious golf. Here is our experience at three courses namely, Centra Pacific Harbour, Sheraton Denerau and Nadi Golf Club.

- YES, Fiji has dazzling white beaches, coral reefs, and tall ships sailing to exotic islands. But it also has mountain safaris over white-knuckle roads, remote waterfall pools for private swimming, and jungle villages filled with incredibly friendly people. Even a little train to ride through the rainforest.
