A Place to Relax in the Sun!

Created by MajorMinor on September 8, 2006

  • We stayed at three different hotels/casinos and tried the food in all four casinos in Mesquite. Mesquite is a destination for golfers and also a good place to spend the night on a road trip from Southern California heading north on I-15. About midway from L.A. to Salt Lake City.

Week in Mesquite, Nevada

Created by GlendaS on December 29, 2004

  • It has great weather, beautiful sunny days, and cool breezes. The living quarters were comfortable but sparse. Sites to visit include Zion National Park and Valley of Fire State Park. There are a variety of casinos with great food. It is a small but plentiful town. We definitely enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Mesquite NV in Summer

Created by DaveWSr on August 8, 2004

  • Mesquite, NV, was a kick in the summer. We used the RCI resort location as a jumping off place for day trips to hike the Dixie National Forest, canoe Lake Meade, and visit Zion. We luxuriated in the resort and gorged ourselves with reasonably priced food at the local casinos.

Cheaper Than Vegas

Created by IWW639 on September 13, 2000

  • Mesquite, Nevada is one of the states fastest growing cities. It is situated about 8 miles from the Arizona border and about 30 miles from Utah via The Virgin River Gorge. It's most valuable attribute is being half way between Los Angeles and Salt Lake City.
