I would heartily recommend this place. My husband and I accidentally stumbled on it as we were traveling around Half Moon Bay, and we have been at least five times since - it's wonderful!

Flying Fish Grill--good food, not child friendly

My baby and I visited Flying Fish Grill. There was only one highchair. When I went to the restroom, my table was cleared and occupied by another family with a baby. My food was ready, there were no seats, and the owner was rude and unhelpful. Not recommended.

Coastside, the coast south of San Francisco, is beautiful and dotted with idyllic small towns. One of the most visitor-friendly is Half Moon Bay. It's a short drive from San Francisco or the South Bay, and features good food, great scenery, and the perfect starting point for some great adventures.
