- An escape from London led me to Rye, in East Sussex, for the day. A highlight of my daytrip was a visit to Camber Castle, situated in the middle of the Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

- Rye, England is both a destination packed with history and medieval charm and a launching point for visiting other interesting sites in East Sussex and Kent (counties south and east of London). Our tours included Rye, Hever Castle, Leeds Castle and an abortive attempt to visit Chartwell.
