- For the last part of my Copenhagen journals, I will detail some of our dining experiences while in Denmark. While dining out in Denmark can get expensive, you can still find places that don’t break your vacation budget. These are some of the places we visited.

- In part two of my three-part journal on my trip to Copenhagen, I explore some of the historical attractions this beauty has to offer. Everywhere you look you can find something historical. This is just a small sample of what there is to see here.

- Several years ago, while taking a trip, we decided to fly into Copenhagen and spend a few days with a friend of mine. Copenhagen is a city full of beauty and history. A visit here should be on everybody’s list.

- Copenhagen has a great number of positive attributes in its favor, including accessibility, size, cosmopolitanism, and friendliness, but my abiding memory is its simultaneously austere and approachable beauty. Consequently, I have provided this overview and a quartet of my personal favorites.

- My husband and I took our yearly trip to visit his relatives in Denmark. This year we took some time to take the train into Copenhagen with his cousin, Jan, and his wife, Bernie. Copenhagen is a great city with too much to see in just 2-3 days.

- Copenhagen consists of coppery green spires, domes, and statues alongside gingerbread houses, inlets, and mill ponds surrounded by willows and dozens of bicycles along cobblestone streets. There’s something about Copenhagen that says, "Relax and live well; this place is home." This journal covers our two-day walking tour of the city.

- Even though Sønderborg is about as far away from Copenhagen as one can get in Denmark (and that isn't very far), it definitely doesn't want for history, interesting things to see and do, and shopping -- everything you expect from big cities. Located just across the fjord from Germany, this area was in German hands between 1864 and 1920 and under German occupation from 1940 to 1945. As a result, this area of Denmark might very well be called the most patriotic in the country.
