- Episkopi Bay is a good day trip a few miles east of Pafos. You'll need a hire car to do it justice.

- North of Pafos is the Akamas Peninsula, with its mountains, seascape, and protected nature reserves, not to mention the place where Aphrodite cleansed herself between lovers.

- Kato-pafos is crammed with restaurants and Tavernas where you can eat "from most parts of the world". These traditional tavernas are where we enjoyed some good, honest Greek food.
