- I spent 3 days in Jinan, in the Shandong Province and 500km south of Beijing, for a congress. I visited Baotu Spring Park in the centre of town and Qianfoshan, the Thousand-Buddha Mountain. Both are worth a visit when in the pleasant city of Jinan on the edge of a plain.
