This trip took myself and four friends to west Cote d'Ivoire to a small fishing village called Sassandra. After flying from Bamako (Mali), we set out to find the golden deserted beaches of west Africa that were rumored to us. And we found them and more!

Abidjan is a busteling, sometimes dangerous, always fascinating city -- full of culture, amazing food and a few Western luxuries. I lived in Abidjan for a year discovering the city slowly and neighborhing cities and countries as well.
