- Being an adventure traveler, I found Colombia to be very enticing given its exotic and supposedly dangerous reputation. Not only was it entirely safe, it's an amazing place full of beautiful sights and people.

- We went to Caracas, Santa Marta, Taganga (Ciudad Perdida), Chichiriviche, Santa Fe, and finally Maracay.
We traveled by bus, spending our time on beaches and in the rainforest.
We stayed in basic hotels.
