- Several years ago, while taking a trip, we decided to fly into Copenhagen and spend a few days with a friend of mine. Copenhagen is a city full of beauty and history. A visit here should be on everybody’s list.

- Copenhagen has a great number of positive attributes in its favor, including accessibility, size, cosmopolitanism, and friendliness, but my abiding memory is its simultaneously austere and approachable beauty. Consequently, I have provided this overview and a quartet of my personal favorites.

- My husband and I took our yearly trip to visit his relatives in Denmark. This year we took some time to take the train into Copenhagen with his cousin, Jan, and his wife, Bernie. Copenhagen is a great city with too much to see in just 2-3 days.

- Copenhagen consists of coppery green spires, domes, and statues alongside gingerbread houses, inlets, and mill ponds surrounded by willows and dozens of bicycles along cobblestone streets. There’s something about Copenhagen that says, "Relax and live well; this place is home." This journal covers our two-day walking tour of the city.

- The weekend 'city break' is becoming an increasingly popular way of sampling a city or country. The Danish capital Copenhagen, seems particularly suited to this sort of visit.

- Located on the island of Zealand, Copenhagen offers a taste of the old, the new, the exciting and the unusual to the visitor. Its low skyline hides many wonderful sites, for the inquisitive, adventurous or simply wanting to unwind. This eco-friendly gateway to Scandinavia is a wonderful place to visit.
