New Year's in Amboseli

This was a side trip to see Mt. Kilimanjaro. Should you be going at this time of year, I recommend seeing Lake Nakuru instead. It was the perfect time to see the flamingos there. The whole time we were in Amboseli, Kilimanjaro was covered in clouds.

Once you have seen the many animals and Mount Kilimanjaro from Amboseli National Park and met the local Maasai, you will never forget the place and its people. It becomes part of you like no other place in the world.
