- We went to England to see where our ancesters came from. We stayed at Broome Park, a 400-year-old manor house. We explored the town of Canterbury, with its fantastic cathedral. We visited Stonehenge, Folkestone, and London as day trips from our base at Broome Park.

- The spiritual heart of the Church of England, this magnificent cathedral is one of the most awe-inspiring religious monuments in the world. If God were an Englishman, he could not have made a better choice.

- The city is justifiably renowned for the awe-inspiring Canterbury Cathedral that stands at the very heart of the town but there is plenty more to explore as I will show in this journal.

- I just had to see Canterbury Cathedral with my own eyes! On my first trip to England, I had the chance to explore the town and, of course, its world-celebrated cathedral!

- This was a trip that my wife and took in 2001. I have always wanted to see London and Canterbury since I am such a history buff. We also took a couple of days out and went to Paris. I would highly suggest that you don't pass up the opportunity since you are so close.
