- There is more to Stratford-Upon-Avon, England, than just Shakespeare. Many people who hated Shakespeare in school but find Stratford on the itinerary of their package tour are pleased.

- Cruising the rivers and canals of the English midlands was a vacation beyond my greatest expectations! Relaxing yet active, scenic and varied, thoroughly recommended for an opportunity to slow down your pace of life to a crawl while visiting magnificent countryside and lovely old villages.

- Walton Hall is a stately home outside Stratford-Upon-Avon, and we spent 7 wonderful days touring Stratford, Warwick, Lemington Spa, and many Cotswold villages. The weather was good. We joined the National Trust to make the most of the homes around. It was a wonderful holiday, and we had a very good timeshare with plenty of outdoor activities.

- Situated on the west bank of the River Avon, in the heart of the Midlands, is one of the most famous towns in England. Stratford-Upon-Avon dates back to at least Roman times but its appearance today is that of a small Tudor market town.
