You don't have to be fabulously wealthy to enjoy the beauty and excitement Aspen has to offer (not that there's anything wrong with that!). The mountain scenery and the trendy bars and restaurants will make even a short stay memorable!

I joined a friend in the Rockies - Breckenridge and Aspen - for some pre-Christmas skiing (he snowboards, I ski). It was an amazing trip; I grew up skiing in the Northeast, and this was like being on another planet. Sheer heaven! (if you want, check out my Breckenridge journal too!
