From 1984 to 1993, I traveled to Mexico on business and visited this area frequently. San Cristobal de las Casas, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Oaxaca, and Villahermosa are some of the cities I really enjoyed. The Palenque Mayan ruins are in this area. Let's have a look at this fascinating zone.
