- Montserrat, the mythic holy mountain, jewel of Catalonia. The famous "Monestir de Montserrat" (Monastery of Montserrat) is the center of the Catalan faith. Pilgrims retreat here for "La Moreneta", the Black Madonna, listen to the boy’s choir, view famous paintings and meditate in the stillness of the mountains peaks.

- As a highly recommended daytrip for traveler's staying in Barcelona or touring the region, Montserrat is a monastery complex which perilously clings to the side of one of Spain's most famous mountains. Whether for religious or recreational purposes, no trip to Catalonia would be complete without a visit.

- A took at the magical place that is Montserrat. Known for it’s peculiar rock formations, monastery, museum and 50-member boys’ choir. It’s a unique natural environment and a religious center. Montserrat is reputed to be the legendary site of the Holy Grail

- The point of interest is the Monastery which houses the "Black Madonna" There is lots of info on the Madonna on site and you tour through the monastary to get a look at it.
