- Cape Cod is more than just T-shirt shops, beach novelty outlets, and pirate-themed miniature golf courses. There are still pockets of "quaint, little villages here and there," and my new favorite is Falmouth. With a vibrant history and tons of activities, Falmouth is the perfect weekend escape.

- Old Silver Beach can possibly be considered the best beach on Cape Cod to take children, with small waves, shallow water, and many families. Scenic bike paths are numerous, the scenery is beautiful, and the town has an old-town atmosphere. It's a very relaxing town to take a vacation to!

- Following our Thanksgiving celebration, we headed out for a return trip to our resort in Falmouth, MA, to enjoy some of the sights and sounds of the surf and sand.
