It's funny--even though we live here, we still saw so many more things than we usually do. We saw a few boars and approached with caution, birds upon birds flew overhead, and we saw some of the rare female species out hiking.

This hotel was quaint, warm, and welcoming. With each room having a different theme, it was fun to explore the empty accommodations. Breakfast, snacks, dessert, and appetizers were provided. And they were delicious and affordable, especially during off-season. Call to make reservations.

Santa Cruz is among the most beautiful areas in California. Rolling hills, fresh streams, deep blue ocean, not to mention the wildlife (surfers beware). Check it out, because whether it be a day trip or a weekend getaway, it is SO worth every dime spent.

I lived in Santa Cruz for 6 years. I had tried many of the dining options in the city and definitely had favorites. This is just one insiders view of the little surf town's cuisine.

Imagine walking down the beach on beautiful sand, taking a dip in the ocean, lying down in the sun in the morning and then playing golf and going on a roller coaster ride in the afternoon. This isn't a dream. Welcome to santacruz, where you can do this and more.
